Ten Years of Chronicles of Illusion!
Yeah, folks. It's official. Ten years ago today, I released the first episode of my crossover web series, Chronicles of Illusion. I was twenty years old, going into twenty-one, a year since I graduated from school with a lot of free time on my hands when I started working on this series. My goal with this project was to tell the biggest unofficial crossover story in history, inspired by the Super Smash Bros. (particularly Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode) and Kingdom Hearts series. But, sadly... I'm gonna be canceling this series real soon... Aside from the reasons I explained in my previous journal entry, this project just became TOO big and ambitious for me to handle, even with some help...
The End of Chronicles of Illusion!
Yeah, folks... It's official... I've honestly been thinking long and hard about this particular decision, but after nearly ten years... Chronicles of Illusion is unfortunately getting canceled... I'm so sorry to do this, but I'm discontinuing the series for six reasons: 1: I no longer have the time, patience or energy to continue the series. I'm thirty years old now, and I really don't want to be in my '40s or even my '50s still making new episodes of this series. Making an unofficial crossover series as huge as Chronicles of Illusion is WAY too much research work, and developing new episodes take a really long time. 2: There's not enough demand to keep the series going. This is no longer the early years of YouTube. Not everyone wants to watch sprite videos. 3: Loss of interest in the project. I want to move on and do a lot more original stuff with my art and videos. 4: The series is a HUGE, colossal mess. 5: Computer and budget problems. Which is the reason why the series was

Dang! Felix will almost be a hundred years old in a couple of more years.
I like what the studio working on the rumored new series has done with transferring Felix to CGI animation, so far. It looks like they focused more on making him like cartoony and expressive, instead of just solely focusing on the CGI. I hope they actually finish producing the series and release it.
